Looking for support in your recovery from mental illness? Feeling lonely or isolated? Our trained peer support workers can help!
Offered as part of our CMHA Studios, peer support workers are volunteers who have lived experience with mental illness and therefore are in a unique position to offer support to others on their recovery journey. They are able to provide personal and social support, as well as help connect you to community services, supports and groups related to your interests.
Peer support workers have been screened and selected by the Peer Support Program Coordinator and trained in basic communication skills and peer support.
If you are interested in volunteering or participating in our Peer Support Program, please contact us.
